United Way of Greater Battle Creek provides on-going funding for the
Volunteer Center of Battle Creek’s 211 Call Center. Before 211,
accessing the complicated health and human service delivery system
created barriers to people in need -- too many people did not know
where or how to get help. Because of United Way’s investment,
individuals now simply dial 2-1-1 and find out if they qualify for
help and, if the help they need is available from one of hundreds of
health and human service programs – all in one easy phone call.
211 makes it much easier for people to get the help they need;
that’s
what matters. |
